derek blackburnChef Derek Blackburn came to beautiful Sarasota Florida to make a successful catering business focusing on the bounties that the region holds. Being a graduate of the Culinary Institute of America in Napa Valley, Chef Derek enjoys highlighting foods that speak to the region from whence they came.

His training is founded in Italian and French, working from Dallas, Texas to New Orleans, California and Pittsburgh. His fortune for working with talented restaurant teams and his commitment to the customer's experience are his namesakes. It is with great pleasure that he is now a part of the Sarasota dining scene.
